Gender Specialist

Cowater is presently looking for a full-time, Ottawa-based Gender Specialist to assist with implementation of our ongoing projects in developing and transitional countries.  The position is based in Ottawa and will involve periodic short-term travel. 

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in International Development Studies, Gender Studies, or related discipline;
  • At least 10 years  experience in developing gender strategies for development projects and programs;
  • Experience using gender analysis tools to monitor and evaluate projects and programs; and
  • Familiarity with and experience in quantitative and qualitative participatory research methods.
