Sanitation and Hygiene

We develop sanitation and hygiene schemes at the town, peri-urban and community levels.  We have learned that while there are important synergies between sanitation/hygiene and water supply initiatives, it is nevertheless essential to remember that sanitation has more of a household dynamic while water supply tends to have more of a community dynamic. In order to make sanitation and hygiene initiatives sustainable, our approach is to work closely with the consumers/ stakeholders to make certain the technology fits the social, economic and physical environmental requirements.  Our experience includes:
