Cowater International is delighted to announce some new wins!
- Under EU FWC EOM LOT 01 – EU Election Observation Missions – we have been awarded the contract “European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Mozambique (General Elections, 9 October 2024)”. The overall objective of the EU EOM is to strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention and contribute to reducing the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation, which could undermine the electoral process. Also, this activity will aim to improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections. The specific objective of this contract is the provision of support services for the implementation of logistics, security, financial and administrative aspects of the 2024 EU EOM to Mozambique for the General Elections. Cowater International will mobilize more than 120 mission members to Mozambique during the duration of the project (August-November 2024), with a possible extension through February 2025 in case of a second round. The contract will be implemented by Cowater International together with our security partner Garda World.
- Under EU FWC SEA2023 LOT 03 – Food Systems, Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition – we have been awarded a contract for the identification and formulation of a program related to sustainable and inclusive development of agriculture, in support of the agricultural development strategies in Togo. The project will start in September 2024 for a period of 10 months.
- Under EU FWC SEA2023 LOT 01 – Climate change – we have been awarded a technical assistance contract to reinforce mangroves regulations in Guyana. The objectives of this contract focus on supporting climate change adaptation through an Integrated Coastal Zone Management approach to protect vulnerable populations in flood-prone areas. Specifically, this assignment will focus on drafting comprehensive regulations to enforce the protection of mangrove forests. The project started in May 2024 and has a duration of 8.5 months.
- Under EU FWC SEA2023 LOT 09 – Rule of Law – Cowater International has been awarded the Technical Assistance for Budget Support Programme “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Armenia – Phase II” with our partner ECORYS NL. The project started in May 2024 and has a duration of 24 months.
- Under EU FWC SEA2023 LOT 09 – Rule of Law – we have been awarded a contract for identification and support to formulation of a new Rule of Law Programme for Pakistan (AAP 2025) with our partner ECORYS NL. The project started in May 2024 and has a duration of 6 months.
