Cowater International will support the development of a climate change strategy in Yemen News

Under the EU FWC SEA2023 Lot 01 – Climate Change – Cowater International has been awarded a contract to provide technical assistance to the Social Fund for Development (SFD) of Yemen. The objective is to assess SFD’s capacity to address climate change impacts, enhance its ability to respond effectively, and support climate-resilient and sustainable development in Yemen through improved preparedness, mitigation, protection, and the capacity to absorb climate-related shocks. This assignment focuses on developing a Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan to guide climate-responsive programming in Yemen. Project duration is 48 months, starting in November 2024.
