Local governance and service delivery

Improving local governance entails building the capacity of sub-national governments to generate and manage revenue, adhere to transparent procurement practices, deliver quality public services, and manage growth. Using innovative models for service delivery and citizen engagement, we increase access to critical public services, from water, power and sewerage connection to citizen registration services. We support the smart cities concept for local service delivery. Our experts use solutions that decrease opportunities for corruption and enable citizens’ voices to be represented in the decisions of their local representatives, especially marginalized groups and persons with disabilities.
