Advancing women’s leadership contributes to inclusive decision-making and improved governance. Recognizing that women face historical and cultural barriers to their involvement in political life, we empower them through training and capacity building to participate and thrive in political settings and to drive legislative and policy changes that benefit women, girls and other underrepresented groups. We also facilitate gender-sensitive civic education to promote women’s political participation, using innovative and inclusive mechanisms to engage with women, men and community gatekeepers.
