To reduce the vulnerability of communities to climate change, we work with local partners to enhance the adaptive capacity of natural resource management systems, including water supply and sanitation, and agricultural water management. We aim to ensure sustainable access to essential resources, including food, water, and basic infrastructure for communities facing the brunt of increasing global pressures on natural resources. As part of our agricultural sector interventions, we support market systems to mitigate the impact of climate change and harness opportunities to advance climate-smart solutions. We strive to support work that both enhances the ability of people to adapt to environmental change, whilst encouraging low-carbon options for development.
