Launch of Women’s Empowerment and Political Participation Project in Pakistan  News

Cowater is pleased to announce the launch of the Women’s Empowerment and Political Participation Project in Pakistan. This 4-year, CAD 3M initiative will be undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada (GAC).

The Women’s Empowerment and Political Participation Project will aim to increase women’s political empowerment, rights and representation in government laws, policies and programs. The initiative will also enable access to crucial resources and contribute to alleviating poverty. The project will strengthen the institutional capacity of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women to fulfill its mandate.
