Cowater International (formerly Transtec) has been implementing the seven-year project ‘Advancing the EU’s role in Multilateral Fora in Asia’ Project. This EU-funded project aims to promote the political, security and economic interests of the European Union in Asia by strengthening the bloc’s engagement in three multilateral fora: the Asia Europe Meeting, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the ASEAN Regional Forum. The project contributes to promoting the EU’s interests within through the three mechanisms by supporting the organisation of official events; organising technical and political meetings; providing policy advice; and developing and implementing communication.
