Cowater International (formerly Transtec) has been implementing the six-year ‘Advancing the EU’s role in Multilateral Fora in Asia’ Project. This EU-funded initiative aims to promote the political, security and economic interests of the EU by strengthening its engagement in three multilateral fora: the Asia Europe Meeting, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the ASEAN Regional Forum. The project contributes to promoting the EU’s interests through the three mechanisms by supporting the organisation of official events; organising technical and political meetings; providing policy advice; and developing and implementing communication.
