Sub-Saharan Africa - Democratic Republic of Congo

2008-2019 | Global Affairs Canada | CAD 4.4 M

This project contributed to the development of the Congolese economy by providing support to the human resources of the Central Bank of Congo. The project was designed to strengthen the competencies of the Bank’s managers and professionals, particularly at the level of Senior Management, of every component of the Human Resource Division including macroeconomic analysis, internal audit, surveillance, etc. The strategic management and human resource management capacity building programs were primarily structured around a competency-based approach, the participatory mobilization of managers and work groups, and the instrumentation of Human Resources Management (HRM) through systematizing and computerizing procedures aimed at setting up an HR Management Information System that integrated all management functions, permitting integrated control of HRM.
