Development and Implementation of the TVET Teacher Training Component of the Better Education for Africa’s Rise (BEAR) Project

This project, implemented by Cowater International (formerly Transtec), aimed to provide technical assistance for activities related to TVET teacher training in the five beneficiary countries of the BEAR project by supporting TVET teachers institutions, identifying the skills needs of TVET teachers, supporting the development of teaching materials and conducting TVET teachers training. Cowater International implemented sectorial programmes in selected countries of the SADC region through public and private partnership and improved the knowledge base and capacity of TVET systems to develop evidence-based TVET policies.
