Cowater is implementing this World Bank-funded, USD 280,000 project with the Audit Service of Sierra Leone (ASSL) to roll-out and support the use of Cowater’s Audit360 software. Audit360 has been specifically designed to assist audit staff in conducting public sector audits, automating all aspects of the audit function, including audit planning and scheduling, electronic working papers, reporting and audit follow-up. This Audit Management Information System was designed to meet the unique requirements of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), meaning it is fully compliant with the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions and customizable to adapt to individual audit environments. Cowater’s project team will install Audit360 on ASSL’s server and audit team laptops followed by a phase of system reconfiguration and testing. Once this has been completed, the team will then engage in user testing of Audit360 with ASSL staff as well as training for the continued and sustainable administration and maintenance of the system.
