The “Evaluation of Gender Equity Funds in South America” project was a one-year initiative undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The initiative evaluated a pilot funding mechanism to support gender equity initiatives in six countries of South America. The evaluation was based on each project’s own intended results and the agency’s framework of results and key success factors; including the relevance, efficiency and sustainability of the initiatives supported through the Funds.
