Evaluation of the Program for the Advancement of Gender Equality (PAGE), & the Women’s Development Project (WDP)

South and South-East Asia - Pakistan

2005-2005 | Global Affairs Canada | CAD 0.054M

The “Evaluation of the Program for the Advancement of Gender Equality (PAGE), & the Women’s Development Project (WDP)” project was an eight-month, CAD 54,000 initiative undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The initiative provided the agency with updated information on the PAGE project, particularly on the achievement of results; thematic focus; performance indicators; reach; critical assumptions and risks; as well as a sense of the longer-term impact of the agency’s gender equality funds in Pakistan. The evaluation took place mid-stream and intended to improve the planning process for any future gender equality responsive funding. It assisted in decision-making with regards to further thematic focus, sub-project scope and size, and investment in capacity building of partners.
