Industrial & Business Investment Advisor

South East Asia and Pacific - Malaysia

Client: Global Affairs Canada

Cowater provided expert assistance to the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), working both in Malaysia and in Canada. Cowater experts coordinate their efforts and those of the MIDA with the activities of Canadian government officials, both federal and provincial, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Manufacturers Association. Joint venture/investment opportunities were identified by the Cowater expert working in MIDA through enquiries and contacts he developed in Malaysia. These opportunities were documented in the form of potential projects for circulation in Canada by counterpart experts working in Cowater’s office in Canada. Such circulation is based on search for and identification of potential investors. Data banks of information on sectors, companies and prospective projects are maintained by staff in Malaysia and in Canada.
