Komercijalna Banka Institution Building Program

Europe and Central Asia - Serbia

2006-2008 | European Bank for Reconstruction and Development | USD 2.12 M

Through this project Cowater supported Serbia’s Komercijalna Banka (KB), then the third largest bank in the country with a nationwide network of 24 branches and 264 outlets . The privatization of KB was seen by the Serbian authorities as a very important step towards reforms in the country’s financial sector. Cowater assisted in the design and implementation of a comprehensive Institution Building Plan for the bank, with additional technical assistance delivered in areas such as corporate governance, risk management, organisational restructuring, human resources, and information technology.
