The “Ruhana University Human Resources Development Project” project is a one-year, CAD 86,000 initiative undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The project increased the employment opportunities of graduates from Ruhuna University in southern Sri Lanka, with an emphasis on sustainability, replicability and project appropriateness within the overall Sri Lankan country policy framework.
