Strengthening the capacity in financial management and in procurement for the implementation of investment projects in the Eastern Caribbean

In 2009, this CAD 349 000 Financial Management and Procurement Capacity Building for Investment Project aimed to strengthen institutional capacity at the level of the Supreme Audit Institution, and at the public agencies responsible for procurement for each member country of the Eastern Caribbean Organisation. The results of the project were: an efficient training for contracting process that has enabled the assignment of candidates to carry out investment projects and their effective execution, better monitoring of the project progress and its results by the Supreme Audit Institution which has led to improved accountability of project results.
