This project is improving regional political stability and democratic governance in Central Africa through support for the consolidation of regional institutions involved in the promotion of peace, security, prevention and conflict management. Within this 36 -months technical assistance period, Cowater International (formerly Transtec) is providing: support for the process of institutional and organizational reforms of ECCAS; support for the effective and efficient delivery of ECCAS’s mandate in the area of the African Peace and Security Architecture’s (APSA) strategic priorities; support for the strengthening of the institutional framework of ECCAS bodies; and support for the strengthening of ECCAS administrative, accounting and financial capacities.
