Technical assistance ENPI EAST: Strengthening Non-State Actors’ Capacities to Promote Reform and Increase Public Accountability in the Eastern Partnership Countries

Cowater International (formerly Transtec) participated in the implementation of this project to strengthen and promote civil society’s role in reforms and democratic changes taking place in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine). The project also sought to strengthen the overall capacities of civil society organisations and to boost their contribution to the political and institutional frameworks. This project promoted national reforms and increased public accountability, making CSOs one of the key players to advocate for reforms at the national level and making them stronger partners in the implementation of Eastern Neighnourhood Partnership objectives.
