Technical Assistance to the Youth Institutional Strengthening Programme in Guatemala

The project objective was to contribute to the institutional strengthening of the Guatemala Government to implement the 2005-2015 Youth National Policy and the 2006-2015 Inter-institutional Youth Action Plan, in particular in the fields of education, health, justice and security, as well as youth employment insertion, by focussing on indigenous youth. The technical assistance implemented by Cowater International (formerly Transtec) supported the consolidation of the institutional capacities of the concerned entities to plan, programme, inform and monitor the implementation of the Youth National Policy and its Action Plan, focusing on education, health, justice & security and youth employment.
