Alan Wilson
Alan has more than 20 years of experience in the international development sector and has worked globally in such countries as Pakistan, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Jordan, Indonesia, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and the Philippines. As Senior Director, Global Operations, Alan works with an HQ-based team to drive operational efficiency and integration to support project delivery across Cowater’s global operations. This includes management and input to client and contract compliance, communications, information technology, risk and security and human resource management.
Prior to his appointment as Senior Director, Alan held several senior leadership and executive positions with Cowater including Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Vice President, Business Development. Throughout his career, Alan has worked with a range of development partners and clients, including Global Affairs Canada, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the African Development Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation and other multilateral organizations.
