Giulia Caruso
Giulia Caruso is Cowater UK’s Head of Programme Delivery and oversees our portfolio of programmes with our UK clients, especially FCDO. Based in London, she oversees our contract and relationship management with Cowater UK’s key clients and represents Cowater as part of FCDO’s Gold Supplier programme. With 10 years of experience in international development, Giulia has a strong track record in programme design and implementation and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful multi-million-pound programmes for FCDO. Giulia specialises in governance reform, with a focus on technical areas ranging from tax, extractives, service delivery, and energy, as well as monitoring, evaluation, and learning. She has recently supported reforms in Ethiopia, Liberia, Mozambique, and Zambia.
Giulia holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from Oxford University and a Master’s degree in Public Management and Governance from the LSE. She is fluent in Italian and English, and continues to work on her French.
