Nadia Guerch
Nadia Guerch is Cowater’s Head of Programs, primarily overseeing the partnerships with Global Affairs Canada. With 18 years of experience in international development, Nadia specializes in economic growth through private sector engagement, market system development, innovative finance, and advancing women and youth economic empowerment and social inclusion. A seasoned leader, Nadia has a strong track record in program design, strategic project management, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver multi-million-dollar, multi-country development projects. Her extensive field experience spans across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia where she effectively developed and led robust partnerships with various sectors, including bilateral and multilateral donor agencies such as USAID, the World Bank Group, United Nations agencies, the European Commission, local governments and numerous international organizations and corporations. Nadia is deeply committed to fostering social change, with a strong focus on advancing gender equality and promoting innovative approaches to sustainable economic development. She holds a master’s degree in political science specializing in International Relations and Law and is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish.
