Technical Support to the Reform Process of the Civil Registration System and Vital Statistics

Cowater International (formerly Transtec) assisted the Congolese government in the process of reforming the civil registration system and vital statistics. Within this project, Cowater International designed a monitoring and evaluation system for the implementation of the National Civil Status Strategy of the Democratic Republic of Congo (SNEC-RDC) and developed its action plan to accompany the reform process. This Monitoring and Evaluation System was designed to provide a framework for step-by-step monitoring of the implementation of this strategy and its action plan.
