The objective of this project was the provision of the necessary support services to ensure the smooth functioning of the EU EOM and to help the EU EOM achieve its objectives : “strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention; contribute to reducing the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation, etc. which could undermine the electoral process, and improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions; inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries”.
The purpose of this contract was the implementation of logistic, security, financial and administrative aspects of the 2022 EU EOM to Lesotho for the general elections
