2000-2000 | Global Affairs Canada | CAD 59,000

The “India Program Gender Equality” project was an initiative undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The initiative provided advice on the ‘Strategy’ – an operational tool to assist with the achievement of the agency’s Country Development Program Framework objectives and to increase the effectiveness of the India Program; to improve the integration of gender equality considerations within the agency’s India Program. Cowater prepared a plan of action, tools, frameworks, and indicators to strengthen the capacities of desk, post, partners (Government of India and NGOs), and Canadian Executing Agencies to integrate gender equality considerations into programming and projects.
