KONEKSI is Australia and Indonesia’s flagship program in Indonesia’s knowledge and innovation sector. KONEKSI aims to foster partnerships between Indonesian and Australian knowledge institutions to increase the use of knowledge-based solutions for inclusive and sustainable policies and innovation. KONEKSI will support multi-disciplinary research partnerships to advance policy and practice solutions. KONEKSI will be supporting partnerships and activities that will respond to knowledge gaps in equality and inclusion and raise the profile of GEDSI-responsiveness, as well as Indigenous Knowledge as critical components of Indonesia’s economic transformation. The knowledge produced will aim at complementing and informing efforts from other initiatives in Indonesia and the program will contribute to strengthening the coherence and impact of Australia’s cooperation investments portfolio in Indonesia.
