Cowater International managed this project supporting the Tunisian security sector to define and implement a process of institutional reform, strengthening its capacity to effectively fulfil its security mandate and respond to the needs of the Tunisian people while respecting democratic values, freedoms and human rights. The specific objective of this 30-month project was provide support, advice and technical assistance to the National Program Coordinator: Component 1 Support for the reform and modernization of structures; Component 2 Support for border security; and Component 3 Support for intelligence and the fight against terrorism.
