The Support to the Better Integration of Women in the Haitian National Police Project (Projet d’Appui à une meilleure intégration des femmes dans la Police Nationale d’Haïti (PAMIF-PNH)) is a more than $3 million Canadian dollars initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC). Spanning a little over two years, 2021-2023, it essentially aims to promote greater integration of women into the PNH.

The expected results include: 1) enhanced capacity of the PNH to implement a gender-sensitive recruitment mechanism; 2) increased capacity of the École Nationale de Police d’Haïti (National Police School of Haiti) to ensure student success, both men and women; 3) improvement of the retention capacity of female police officers within the PNH; 4) young women better able to integrate movements promoting peace and security.
