Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project – CS-01 Project Management Services for the PMU

The project will improve the quality, relevance, and gender-responsiveness of senior secondary education for a climate resilient economy through the following outputs:
Output 1: Improved quality of learning in senior secondary education.It will reform the years 10–12 curriculum, giving it a greater practical focus, providing a solid foundation in literacy and numeracy, increasing engagement with other educational institutions, the private sector, and communities, and reflecting the context and culture of Solomon Islands.
Output 2: Quality and climate and disaster resilience of secondary school facilities, furniture, and learning equipment enhanced. This output will upgrade or construct new gender-responsive and climate and disaster-resilient facilities in 10 secondary schools (one school in each province and one close to Honiara).
Output 3: Strengthened secondary school management. This output will enhance the capacity of school leaders with a focus on gender-responsive disaster preparedness and response management.
