Strengthening Institutional Capacity within the Sectors of Integrated Development Involving Coca, Illicit Drug Trafficking and Food Security in Bolivia

Cowater International participated in this project, which contributed to the sustainability and effective implementation of policies supported by the European Union’s sector-based budget support programmes. This took place in the following sectors: the fight against illicit drugs; integrated development involving coca, and food security in municipalities providing labour; and contributing to the sustainability of macroeconomic and public finance policies, in accordance with the eligibility criteria governing European Union budgetary support. The technical assistance team supported the National Council for the Fight against Illicit Drug Trafficking, the Ministry of Rural Development and Land, the National Fund for Alternative Development and other public entities involved in the sectors of integrated development and combating drug trafficking.
