Country Manager, Cowater International Kenya

Duncan is an international development professional with over 10 years of experience in managing enterprises and delivering projects in Kenya, the Sub-Saharan Africa region, and South America. He leads the Cowater International Kenya office where he oversees the implementation of the corporate strategy. He leads and manages all the aspects of business performance which include business development, project management, operations, finance, HR, and client/stakeholder management.

Over the years, Duncan has gained progressive experience in international development where he has taken lead roles in designing and implementing complex technical assistance and capacity building projects in Africa, South America, and the Middle East. He has worked with a wide range of donors and clients key among them the World Bank, KfW Development Bank, AfDB, EU, Sida, MFAT New Zealand and Fortescue Future Industries on projects in the water and sanitation, natural resource management and agriculture, green energy, climate change adaptation, governance, and human rights.

Duncan holds a M.Sc. in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BEng in Chemical and Process Engineering (First Class Honors) from Moi University, Kenya.
