Marie-Astrid Corbisier MsBA
As Managing Director of Cowater International SA (formerly Transtec), Mrs. Corbisier leads the management team in Belgium. She oversees the implementation of the corporate strategy and has overall responsibility for all aspects of performance on business development, operations and finance.
Marie-Astrid has over 25 years of progressive experience in international development and has assumed leadership roles in designing and overseeing innovative and complex technical assistance programmes and capacity development projects in Africa, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining Transtec, Marie-Astrid worked at the Belgian Embassy in Vienna and held a number of private sector roles in Belgium and Germany. She has also worked as a consultant on EU regional development projects.
Maire-Astrid holds a Master’s in Business Administration from ICHEC – Brussels Business School. She is fluent in French, English, Dutch, German and Portuguese.
