Rhys McGaw
Rhys is an international development and business development professional with 10 years of experience in the sector. As Director for Business Intelligence and Development at Cowater Rhys works with the company’s executive leadership and across all of Cowater’s teams to improve Business Development practices, knowledge sharing and drive the identification and pursuit of new opportunities for the company. With the goal of development new clients, geographies, and areas for collaboration Rhys works across all of Cowater’s offices and companies.
He has direct experience in business development with a range of bilateral and multilateral donors including GAC, the FCDO, EU, DFAT, ADB, IADB, World Bank, AfDB, and the MCC. Rhys is based in Cowater’s HQ in Ottawa, Canada but has developed opportunities for the company in a number of countries, including in Tanzania, Mozambique, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Ethiopia. His professional and academic experience has also seen him working or carrying out research in Azerbaijan, Iraq, and the Kyrgyz Republic.
