Elections are the cornerstone of democratic societies. Cowater International’s support to electoral processes adopts the Electoral Cycle Management approach by providing assistance to Electoral Management Bodies to carry out their institutional duties in line with electoral law; training citizens in core capabilities of monitoring electoral processes; strengthening institutional capacity in election administration; and working to raise the levels of citizens’ awareness and participation in electoral processes. We lay the foundations for electoral observation work and assist elected parliamentary bodies in carrying out their core functions.
Cowater International provides integrated logistical, administrative, financial and security support in deploying EU electoral missions, including Election Observation Missions (EU EOMs), Election Assessment Team missions (EATs), Election Expert Missions (EEMs), Exploratory Missions (ExM), and Election Follow-up Missions (EFM).
