Cowater International delivered a Cost-of-Service Study and Tariff Proposal for the Barbados Water Authority and the Caribbean Development Bank. This assignment supported the development of a comprehensive tariff review to provide the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) with options for improving its financial and operational sustainability; reduce its reliance on government financing; better finance current and/or pending capital works; comply with the recently proposed standards by the Fair Trading Commission (FTC); and ensure the long-term high quality delivery of water and wastewater services to the citizens of Barbados.
