Cowater International supports state and societal actors in safeguarding and advancing human rights by implementing a wide range of projects, including advocating civil and political rights, strengthening the active role of oversight actors, and voicing non-state actors’ concerns. Through our interventions we aim to support democratic values, protect fundamental freedoms and advance human rights.
We work to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in political processes. We promote their participation in policy dialogues and legal, institutional and administrative reforms with the goal of supporting political processes, democratization, good governance and respect for human rights.
