As independent public bodies responsible for monitoring the use of public funds, Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) ensure oversight, transparency and accountability of public sector spending. They play a fundamental role in efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals as key national players in ensuring good governance.
