Sub-Saharan Africa - Sudan

2015-2018 | European Commission | EUR 2.4M

The overall objective of this project implemented by Cowater International (formerly Transtec) was to enhance the EU Delegation to Sudan’s understanding of the economic situation in the country and to contribute towards a more coherent approach for the EU programming in each sector of intervention. The project provided the necessary analysis and assessment on EU priority sectors for Sudan in the context of the economic situation and guided future support in areas of intervention such as rural development, small-scale agriculture, food security and nutrition, climate change and environment, education, health and migration, as well as identifying and formulating potential programmes to be funded by the EU.
