Sound management of public expenditures enables the implementation of public programs that are result-driven, provide value for taxpayers’ money and are aligned with government priorities and responsibilities. Cowater International experts work with local and national governments on macroeconomic management, budget planning and execution, and medium-term expenditure frameworks. To ensure public funds work for all citizens and reduce gender gaps, we have introduced tools such as gender-based budgeting in all our projects.
